Family history can be found in many of the Western Assembly Minutes and in its member churches.
In search of old Western Assembly Minutes I found my great grandfather Rev. R. W. Days. This lets me know that he was a member of a Western Assembly Church. If I had not seen this inscriptions in his daughter's Bible where she refers to him as Rev. R. W. Days I would have over looked this.

The Western Assembly Disciples of Christ Churches, Inc. was founded in 1872.
I am in search of additional old church records in the Western Assembly to find out exactly what church did Rev. R. W. Days attended. He was married to Minnie McLamb in 1921 and according to her son she went to the same church he did. Therefore, he attended Point Level Disciple Church. Was this where he became a minister?
He was a minister and pastor of Second Hosana Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York. Second Hosana Baptist Church no longer exist.
